Hi,
This is going to be a bit of a rant
I have recently applied to University, and although going to uni will allow me to achieve my dream job, I can't believe the amount of stress that the government put us under in order to make sure we fit their 'description' of a perfect university student.
As well as writing one page of A4 which defines whether the uni's give you an conditional offer or not, I have to go to interviews, 5 all around the country which puts a cost on me, in terms of petrol, as well as moving me away from the ever increasing in diffucultly exams and coursework. It is a balancing act that is a recipe for failure.
At the end of the day, if I get to university I know it will be worth the struggle, as it will allow for me to become a primary school teacher, but what will this entail in the future. What amount of children will still be interested in learning, or will they be more interested in their games or TV shows to do anything educational, I guess the future will tell.
We are growing up very quickly, in this dangerous generation with war becoming more and more likely with Seria, in order to back up France which could leave in terrorist threats in the UK much like the Paris attacks which shocked the world in November. I know we often hear about shootings on the news, but this seemed real to me, it scared me how innocent people were killed without a second thought by these monstorous humans, and how they could strike again soon, and London seems like a possible target.
All in all, the world is a very scary place to be growing up in right now, but I am so fortunate for my biggest issues being my history coursework and whether I get a university place or not.
Speak soon,
Lucy xoxo

Hi guys,
So exams are finished!! I now have no excuse not to blog!
Especially now because of my little accident!
Me and my friends had a little party at my friends farm at the end of exams and during the night I rolled my ankle. I have been walking on it for a few days but it was still sore when I walked on it. I went to the doctors and it turns out I severely sprained my ankle (nice one!) I've now got my ankle all strapped up and I am currently icing it and having to keep weight off it for 3 days! so now I can do a good bit of blogging.
On a more upbeat note I thought I would let you know my favourite product of this month!
It is the MUA palette in undressed! I absolutely adore this product I use it everyday, I use the light brown colour for my brows and I think you can get so many looks out of it. The best part is that it is only £4 which is just incredible value and it is actually good quality!

Revsion tips!
Hi guys,
Sorry I haven't wrote a blog in a while, as you know I have exams rapidly approaching and I have been revising for them. So I thought I would bring you today my little tips and tricks for exam revision and how your time can be best spent.
Ok so let's get cracking....
Revision cards- I know this may sound tedious and boring but it really does work. If you separate subjects into sections then it makes it a whole lot easier to revise because if you just want to look at one thing to refresh your memory then you can find that card without being sunk with useless information. You can get revision cards from WHsmith.
Cut down to the main points - only revise the points that you really need and are necessary to the exam and don't waste your time on pointess information that won't help you.
Finally and probably my favourite tip is coloured pens!!! You can get these from most stationary shops or on Amazon and they just make me want to revise more because it just makes it look so pretty which is a huge highlight for me and makes me want to look and read through my revision because they stand out!!
Ok, so that's all my little tips! I hope you found them useful and if you have any form of exams then GOOD LUCK

Life is short...
Do you ever get it when one small event changes the way you look at life?
One of these happened to me yesterday when I heard that my lovely, kind-hearted biology teacher unfortunately passed away from Cancer. She was 29, had her career at her feet and could of done what she wanted in life but that was all taken away in the blink of an eye.
Life is unfair, and sometimes the worst things happen to the best people but we have to get on with things and accept that things aren't always going to go our way.
I wanted to write this blog post to remind everyone that life is short, the small amount of years are nothing in comparison to many things yet for us it is a lifetime. Live it too the full because you never know that day you spent lolling around on the sofa might be your last.
So please tomorrow do some good, for the people that can't.
Speak soon, keep smiling

Exam tip!
Hello my lovelies,
It feels like it's been ages since I wrote on this blog! I just seem never to have time with me being this new person that revises 24/7 (not)
Recently I went to my local high street with my friend Sophie and we popped in to pound land to see what bargains it would withhold this time. While looking at the array of phone cases on display I noticed a rather strange looking case from the brand clean it.
This phone case has 2 parts and claims that when you put the front on it will clean your phone. I kind of knew this wouldn't work with it being a pound and all but I picked it up for another reason.
I have my GCSES in about 2 months and I hate handing my phone in because im scared that someone's going to drop it or it will get scratched. But now with this case it has a hard cover that you can slide on and off to protect it!
Problem solved and at a bargain as well!
Look out for this brand in pound land because I think it will be most helpful for anyone with upcoming exams!
Hope this helped and good luck with revision!

Who doesn't love a February bargain?
Everyone loves a February bargain right?
I've been doing a little bit of shopping recently and I've found a few gems shinning through,
First of all I was looking for a new foundation, with a bit better coverage than my previous foundation.
I decided after everyone on YouTube has raved about it, I finally caved and brought the rimmel Match Perfection foundation in the shade true ivory. I can see what everyone is on about, it's amazing! The coverage is amazing and it spreads so well all over the face. It actually also smells really nice which is a bonus! At only £6.99 from Boots this is a bargain and way better than some of the higher brand foundations I have tried.
The next thing I have tried is the sinful colour nail varnishes, these are amazing and I probably have 4 or 5 now. The most recent one I brought is called frenzy and is a beautiful glitter nail varnish with purple and blue specks. The best part of this nail varnish is that unlike other glitter based nail varnishes, this easily comes off which makes wearing this beautiful nail varnish even more enjoyable.
Finally, I've been loving pull and bear jeans. they've recently opened a store in Cabot circus near where I live and I went in a picked up some jeans. They are incredible and so so comfy, infact I'm wearing them right now. They were also only £20 which in terms of a good quality jean is good value. I love them and I think I might have to get more.
I hope you liked this little blog and I'd love to know what you think if you try any of these!

January 2014
Hello guys,
Oops this is my first post of 2014 and its nearly February!
The time has gone so quick! if the rest of the year goes by as fast as this then it will be over before we know it. This year is going to be a busy one for me and I'm actually quite looking forward to it.
As some of you may or may not know I'm in year 11 at the moment so I have my big exams! (scary) and the time is slipping away. In 5 months they will all be over and I haven't even thought about revising yet, I have absolutely no motivation.
As a reward for all my exams we have the prom on the 27th of June which I am so looking forward too! I have already ordered my dress from etsy and I love it! I'm going to do a prom get ready with me blog post nearer the time so look out for that!
Another reward for finishing school is a holiday with one of my best friends Sophie to Lanzarote which I cannot wait for, it will be so nice to have a well deserved break.
I also have a few new years resolutions,
one being to get fit and healthy, one so I can fit into my prom dress and have a nice holiday body! But mainly to feel better about myself inside and out
I also want to get my skin sorted out as I have quite bad acne at the moment and although its not a major issue it is just quite annoying!
The final and most important one for me personally is to do well in my exams, and keep motivated to revise so I know that whatever my results are I couldn't get any better!
So this is just a little update from me!
Let me know what you have to look forward to in 2014 and if you have any tips for getting better skin!
